What We Do
Support built for survivors, by survivors.
Every survivor’s journey looks different, and how you connect with Project31 should too. Some women start by following along online. Others jump straight into a group. Both are exactly right. Here are the ways to get involved, so you can find what fits you.
Ways to connect.
Join a Facebook Group.
Sometimes the easiest way to join our community is simply to watch and listen for a while. Our private Facebook groups are a place where women share what they’re going through, ask questions they haven’t said out loud anywhere else, and find comfort in stories that sound a lot like their own. With multiple groups to choose from, you’ll never feel like you’re walking this journey alone.
Subscribe to Our Newsletter.
If you’d rather stay in the loop without logging in anywhere, our newsletter is an easy way to do that. It’s an easy way to stay connected—and a good first step if you’re not sure what you’re ready for yet.
Join a Support Group.
For survivors who are ready for real connection, our support groups are where a lot of lasting friendships begin. We meet in person in cities across Oklahoma and online for anyone, anywhere. Every group is led by someone who’s walked this road herself, so you’re never explaining your experience to someone who doesn’t get it. Come to one meeting or come to every one—there’s no agenda you’re required to follow, and no pressure to share until you’re ready to.
Come to Our Events.
From our annual Survivorship Expo to seasonal luncheons and our annual Paint the Town Pink Gala, Project31 events are built for connection, learning, and joy! You’ll hear from real experts, swap stories with women who understand, and get a reminder that life after diagnosis can still be full of good things.
Give Back.
Many of the women leading Project31 groups today started right here—in a Facebook group, at a first meeting, unsure what to expect. When you’re ready, there’s a place for you to give back: mentor a newly diagnosed woman, help lead a group, or simply be the person who reaches out first. It’s one of the most meaningful parts of this community—survivors turning around to help the next woman find her footing.
Not sure where to start?
That’s okay—most women aren’t at first. Reach out, and we’ll help you figure out your fit.
